About us

Solheure started life as a pop-up created by hotel business students and opened as the second venue in the Genossenschaft Baseltor family in 2002. The cooperative, which has spent over 40 years setting culinary and cultural trends in Solothurn, was one of the trailblazers leading the revival of the area by the Aare River with the Solheure bar and restaurant.

Managing Director Sabrina Knittel and her young team of full and part-time staff will give you a warm welcome at Solheure. You can contact her with any general queries and concerns, whether you have an idea for an event or your visit to Solheure didn’t meet expectations. If you’re planning an event, drinks reception or special occasion, get in touch with Kathrin from the Events team.
